My husband is such an amazing person! Over the last few months he has worked so hard to get ready for the Beatdown Bash which will be this Saturday! This bash is to benefit Shenango Valley Power. They are going to be assisting in sponsoring his team to go to WORLDS in GEORGIA for Power lifting!!! What an amazing accomplishment in its own. Then, with some of the proceeds, we also wish to help a family in need for Thanksgiving, as well as Christmas. Pretty soon we would like to get out Cleets for Kids program started. If you have any cleets or athletic equipment no longer being used, please let us know. We will make sure a child receives it.

Life has been difficult for every one of us with the plunge in economic activity. Mike has been unemployed since August. Although- instead of getting upset, he went back to school. Realizing that it is difficult to maintain stability without further education, we both buckled down and became frugal. Altough we still have a lot to learn about being frugal, it has been a nice change.

Mike started this non profit organization in January. It has definatly gotten off to a rough start as it has been difficult to obtain sponsors due to the weakening economy. But- no matter what, he keeps trucking along. Mike knows the struggles of a child wanting to be in all the sports, but sometimes the cost of equipment was too expensive and he would have to go without. I think it is an amazing thing that he is doing! LOVE YOU HONEY!!!
